We have a mixed colour litter from one of our beautiful Tortie Females who also carries the longhair gene. That simply means she can produce a range of coloured kittens as well as GCCF registered British short and longhair kittens.
The kittens we have available are a blue shorthair boy, black longhair boy, red longhair boy, black tortie girl and black girl.
All these kittens are very placid and loving. They can be picked up and cuddled by adults and children. They are confident and bright, love their belly’s tickled and start purring when they see you going to them. They love to play with feather sticks but their favourite pass time is strokes from you 🙂
Personalities… please note, all of these kittens we pick up, cuddle, hold like babies. But I will do a quick summary of all of them.
Black longhair…I stand on him constantly as he follows you all over. You walk, he walks. You stop, he stops. He wants to be picked up and cradled like a baby so you can tickle his tummy and chin. You ignore him?? He will attempt to jump up your leg till you pick him up.
Black tortie female. She lives up to the “naughty tortie” name. The biggest character and personality out the bunch. She is inquisitive and loves to look around, she would be prefer to be in the room where their is a human! Quite happy to leave her siblings and to be with us.. She loves our 2 dogs. She is very affectionate to them but obviously would need gentle introduction to any new dogs. This little girl would make a great play mate for children but also suitable for any home.
Red longhair… the more laid back one out the group. Loves his cuddles and kisses, quite happy to sit and relax with you. Like his siblings, likes a fuss but not as energetic, still likes to play though! Very gentle. Easy street for this kitten and life in the slow lane.
Black shorthair girl and blue shorthair male. Identical in personality. Both want you to stroke them and purr like crazy soon as they see you. Both like to play with their feather sticks but also both like their cuddles. The blue boy is nicknamed pug as when he is happy, his tail curls around his back like a little pug dog. Both Not overly energetic and naughty but love to have a good play with their siblings. Suitable for any home.
Any one interested in the black longhair male, please have a look at one of our previous black longhair cats. His body will turn lighter as seen in the picture I have included. Black longhairs truly are magnificent when they are mature.
Please note, depending on lighting the pictures are took in, depends on what colour and shade the kittens come across in. The same applies to their eyes. Their eyes are just starting to devils into the beautiful gold/orange colour.
All the kittens will be fully weaned, litter trained, microchipped, gccf registered, pedigree certificate and vaccinated prior to leaving. At vaccination appointments they will also be health checked by a vet. They will leave us in accordance to GCCF recommendations at 13 weeks. Up until this time they will be kept with their mum and be in our family home so we can ensure good socialisation. Please note, none of these kittens are available to breeding homes.
They are born to our registered gccf queens and our registered stud. All our cats parents are registered to breed from. All parents are up to date with their vaccinations and are pkd negative on genetic screening.
The babies are brought up with 2 small dogs and the general noise and chaos of a working family home. They will be socialised so you can pick them up, play with them and simply enjoy them.
When they leave us they will have 4 weeks insurance set up. We ask all our family’s to sign a contract to state they will either continue with that insurance or source their own. We want our babies to be able to get the very best treatment from vets throughout their life should they so need it. Although the babies get thoroughly checked by our vets, cats and kittens, as with us humans, we can become poorly or have accidents. Vet bills can be very expensive and insurance can really make the difference of the future of your furry family member…
